The KIM Study

The KIM study is conducted approximately every two years by the Medienpädagogischer Forschungsverbund Südwest (mpfs). For this, around 1,200 children aged six to 13 and their main educators are being surveyed. The focus is on children’s thematic interests and their use of media, as well as the availability of media in the family.

If you are interested in the study, you can find it on the website of the Medienpädagogischer Forschungsverbund Südwest (mpfs). There you will also find the results of the JIM study, which looks at media use by young people, and other media use studies.
